WEEKLY THURSDAY NIGHT RACING

During the 7 primary weeks of our summer camp program, we conduct an open racing series each Thursday evening (except during the week of our annual Family BBQ Fundraiser, when Thursday Night Racing is held on Wednesday). All current campers enrolled in a session, along with alumni and any staff members not working that night, are invited to participate and race. In addition, SBJSA Community Boating FULL FLEET Members are also welcome and encouraged to participate. Anyone can race just one Thursday night, or multiple Thursdays, based on personal availability and interest.

Sailboat classes include Laser Radial, 420 and Opti. If 3 or more boats of another one-design class are present, then they will receive their own start as well. Thursday Night Racing is also open to members of the Sodus Bay Yacht Club and their families who wish to utilize the Club's fleet of Ideal 18 keelboats or other one-design class boats owned by members (ie – Lightnings).
