ENGRAVED PAVERS

Back in 2014, we dedicated and built a new hardscape “Awards Court” that includes a beautiful raised area of pavers and stone and 3 large flagpoles. From this new asset’s platform, we can make trophy presentations, raise and lower our flags each day and along the decorative wall, sit and enjoy a great view of Sodus Bay. The Awards Court was provided in part through donations received in memory of Max Buzzell, a young man we lost unexpectedly in 2012 and an exceptional person that truly loved SBJSA and teaching kids how to sail.

All across the Awards Court area there are pavers that can be engraved to honor or memorialize a loved one and/or show support of SBJSA with the name of a past camper, staff member, donor, family, Board member or anything else you’d like to say.

Pavers for engraving are available via a $100 donation to SBJSA. Engraving is limited to 3 lines, with a maximum of 15 characters per line, including spaces and symbols. Over 125 pavers have been purchased, engraved and installed in our Awards Court since 2014. Why not add your family’s remembrance or tribute to this permanent part of our SBJSA campus? Please note that depending on the circumstances and timing, a number of orders may be accumulated for a few months each year before we order a batch to be engraved and installed at the same time.
